About Us
Sara earned her PhD in sociology from UC Berkeley and her law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Sara taught sociology and journalism and wrote four books on the American right wing.Since becoming a lawyer, she has taught Elder Law at the JFK University School of Law and at UC Berkeley's School of Social Welfare.
Sara is a member of the State Bar of California's Trusts & Estates Section,
the Alameda County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is available for public speaking on the topic "Older and Wiser: Basic Legal Knowledge for Living Well to the End."
